Nestled in the heart of milton-freewater, oregon Eastside Schoolhouse Gardens in built upon a foundation of history, passion, and community. Our story begins with a historic 1912 two-room schoolhouse, a cherished piece of walla walla valley that had stood the test of time. when we first saw it, we didn’t just see an old building-we saw potential.
As lifelong gardeners, we envisioned a space where people could gather, connect with nature, and create together. a place where vibrant blooms, creative hands and meaningful conversations could flourish. In 2021, we took a leap of faith and purchased the schoolhouse, knowing it needed care, restoration, and love to bring it back to life.
The schoolhouse isn’t just home to flowers-it’s a place for creativity to thrive. we love hosting crafting nights, where people can gather, learn new skills, and create something beautiful with their own hands. These workshops blend artistry and connection in an inspiring space.
